The
Springville Center for the Arts presents:
“The Art of Zoar Valley”
July 5th –
August 4th, 2007
Opening Reception: Friday July 13th, 7-9PM
The legendary
beauty of Zoar Valley has drawn visitors from all over the
country for at least 150 years. They hike the trails
through the old growth forests, enjoying the unique birds
and plant life. They fish its waters and raft the spring
rapids. Since the mid-19th century, artists have been
honoring the awe inspiring beauty of the valley and its
vistas as well. The Springville Center for the Arts is
hosting a multimedia, interdisciplinary exhibit called "The
Art of Zoar Valley" in July 2007. Our goal is to honor Zoar
and the artists it has inspired over the years, educating
people about this gem of Western New York. The gallery is
located at 35 East Main Street Springville, NY 14141.
Gallery hours are Wednesdays 12-6, Thursdays 12-8, Fridays
12-6, and Saturdays 10-3. For more information, call
592-9038. Catalogs are now
available.
